Inside the church you can see the restauration taking form :-) It looks like marble but it's just painted marble on lime :-)
However, while the market invades the centre of Fayence, the little alley next to the church is full of little market stands mainly "manned" (they were all women :-) ) with fellow Dutchies. Ah, how I love those real French markets :-)

I am just back from 2 weeks in Seillans. Ate at Le Castelleras and had something with Lemon Grass! I know I should remember what it was but all I remember is being surprised and thrilled at the combination of tastes; I am trying to find the menu from there for October to see what I ate, and to see if I can replicate it. Can you help me in any way? thanks Julie
